MIDSEASON DROPS REPLACE WEEKLY UPDATES IN BATTLE ROYALE SEASON 17

Hey folks,

We're ramping up production on the Snapshots campaign experience Save the Verse in 2026, and we're making some changes to the way we deliver Battle Royale updates to accommodate the movement of development resources.

Starting w/ Venture 2 – Season 7, we're replacing weekly content updates and content hotfixes with less regular, larger Midseason Drops.

This allows us to put the dev time where it really matters and deliver better seasons, exciting story events, and more fulfilling content overall. Seasonal events (such as Frightmares) will be released independently of Mid-Season Drops. Other updates, such as those featuring crossover/collaborative content, may also be released independently of Mid-Season Drops.

The purpose of this change is to have a healthier development cycle with less stress and more fun, and to ensure that we're always delivering the highest quality content possible to you!
